RHYTHMICAL SALSA DANCE WORKSHOP WITH LIVE PERCUSSION

What is this workshop about?
The workshop’s purpose is to help dancers from all levels, styles, and backgrounds gain an understanding of the essential relationship between the main Salsa rhythms (Son, Rumba, Cha-cha-cha) and the 1st and 2nd beats, as well as understanding how the steps and movement change with each one. It’s all about the rhythm.
Who could benefit from this workshop?
Whether you’re still a beginner or an advanced dancer aiming to elevate your skills, this workshop offers valuable insights for all salsa enthusiasts. While beginners are welcome, please note that we don’t recommend this workshop for individuals with no previous experience or those who are still trying to get the very basic steps.
Who will be teaching?
The workshop will be led by Master Elder Sanchez, Salsateca Dance School director and one of London Salsa’s Fathers. Additionally, Juan Camilo, an experienced and incredibly talented percussionist, will join, enhancing the workshop’s rhythmic experience to an extraordinary level.

- It will help you to become a better dancer by understanding timing, differentiate rhythms, instruments and parts of a song and learn how to interpret them.

If you are looking for a Salsa Club in London, this might not be your event, as we don’t have social dance after the workshops. But we have regular parties and socials after lessons other days in most of our locations, please check the other events on this page. Also, most days we go together to the local pub after to have a drink after this workshops.
